You ever just come across people or things in life that just speak to you… see images or captured moments (photos) that just touch every part of your heart? Thats the powerful stuff I live for… that’s what I want to be apart of. Something so much more than myself.
That real inspirational and emotional evoking image of life captured…. what a privileged opportunity photographers(artists) have to be able to interpret something ordinary, routine (to everyday people) and see things in the way that’s always beautiful. I feel so privileged to be apart of the people who are able to see that beauty and splendor in life and then even more so blessed to capture it and give the gift I was given, to someone else.
Thats what i see with the WPPI… an opportunity to fill myself up with something bigger than myself. To enter a world of unparalleled knowledge & inspiration to receive and more importantly be among the people who have that passion for life and beauty to capture and then the best part is to return and give that gift to others. Photography to me is the gift that keeps on giving…. generation after generation.
I want (and will eventually) to attend to absorb as much as possible to where I can continue to keep on giving…
I want/need that forward push.
